Boardies Day 2008

Boardies Day is a free-dress day for businesses and schools. On Friday 28 November 2008 simply swap your uniforms and work attire for boardshorts (or anything beach-related) and make a donation to help save lives!

Did you know...

  • Last season, Surf Lifesavers performed 12,541 rescues
  • They administered first aid to 21,407 people and carried out 235,612 preventative actions
  • Surf Life Saving has 39,994 patrolling members and 52,313 nippers at 305 clubs across Australia
  • Australia has an estimated 55 million beach visitations per year

Register today to receive your Boardies Day Kit, which gives you everything you need to start fundraising.

Every dollar counts and all donations to Surf Life Saving support the amazing work of our local volunteer surf lifesavers.  I hope that you can join in the fun of Boardies Day to help us continue our ongoing lifesaving work.

Community / Charity Leasing Sites

Here at City Centre Plaza we like to give back to the community by supporting important non-profit organisations such as the Queensland Cancer Fund, the Rotary Club, the Returned Services League and many more.

We are able to show our continued support by allowing these organisations to utilise our Casual Leasing spaces free of charge.

Our charity leasing sites can also be utilised by local sporting clubs for registration days.

For further information or to make a booking, please contact Rebecca Medley by telephone on 07 4922 4480 or to send Rebecca and email, please click here

Please be aware that City Centre Plaza has minimal sites available and are generally heavily booked.  It is advisable to book in advance to avoid disappointment.
